Welcome to Restore Tennessee Counseling! I am so glad you found my practice. I believe that counseling is an ethically safe place to lay down your burdens, worries, struggles, etc. It is a place to be known, build insight, and with that wisdom, my hope is, you can make changes that will lead you to healing and growth. I know that it can be challenging and we can’t always know exactly what counseling will reveal about you or your story. However, I will partner with you as you navigate these waters and will resource you along the way. Connection is a vital part of healing. We need people. We need community. We need resources. As you walk through counseling with me, we will be working on securing strong connections and resources so that counseling doesn’t become the only place you are known and cared for. I became interested in counseling a long time ago, and I am grateful to embark on this path with you!

A little bit about me:

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Tennessee (License # 2001). My bachelors degree is in Psychology with a minor in Behavioral Sciences from Trevecca Nazarene University. I also received my masters of Marriage & Family Counseling/Therapy from TNU. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. When not seeing clients I am working for The Donelson Fellowship. The two facets of professions fit well together and excite me as I pursue what I think I was created to do.

When not at work I love to be outdoors hiking, running, walking with friends, or grabbing food with those I love the most! Unless its that muggy/hot TN day, then you’ll find me indoors hanging with friends or family, reading some sort of mystery, or binging a show. Also, keeping me busy is my pup whom you may see in the therapy office from time to time (only if you feel comfortable with dogs). Her name is Honey Rose, and she is a dorkie breed. Much like her name she is funny, spunky, smart and sweet. She’s the cutie you see below!

Fun facts: I love Harry Potter and Wonder Woman. I prefer coffee, but trying to prefer tea more too. I really am a plant lady. Some of my go to shows are The Office, New Girl, or The Last Kingdom. I hate roller coasters. I grew up in the country. Basketball is my favorite season. I love being on or near any body of water.
